A day in Brighton

Today my friend Neil took me on a day trip to Brighton, one of the places on my 'to-visit' list before I head back to Australia next month. It was a beautiful day filled with gorgeous sun and walks along the beach. I took some photos with Ophelia, my custom Gbaby Blythe, as well. Warning: lots of photographs of my dolls in the post below!

A trip to Brighton is not complete without a visit to the pier and to the beach. :-)

Have I told you about Ophelia? She is my only new Blythe doll this year (so far, hehe) and I have to say I am completely smitten with her. I received her in a trade with my Blythe friend Rebecca, who in return received one of my dolls. Ophelia's previous name was Jelly Bean, but once the doll arrived, I knew I wanted to give her a more poetic and soft name that reflected her gentle beauty. Ophelia is so photogenic, and an absolute joy to photograph!

One last thing I did in Brighton was visit the Lego shop, and make mini-fig versions of me and my boyfriend. I was disappointed with the lack of female mini-fig parts (or what I called the 'lady bits'), but I am pretty happy with how they turned out! Not bad for 2 pounds each!

Love the mini me pair! Brighton is somewhere I'd love to visit too!
