As I've mentioned before on this blog, I collect Blythe dolls. I love being part of the Blythe world not only because I think they are adorable dolls (and I can't resist cute things), but also because I find it a very inspiring and creative community.
Today I met up with my friend Nancy, who I met through Blythe. She is also a very talented customiser, which means that she is a 'doll artist' that takes factory-made Blythe dolls and redoes their faces and hair. We took some photos of our dolls together and I wanted to share them here.
As I mentioned before, I first came to photography as a hobby through Blythe. For some of my other friends, Blythe has been what inspired them to sew, knit, crochet or create miniatures and toys. In this way, she really is a creative muse with endless possibilities.
